Dan Fontaine is one of Australia’s most sought-after composers, musical directors, and virtuoso percussionists. A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Mr. Fontaine continues in the footsteps of Henry Mancini, Nelson Riddle, and Bossa Nova legend Antônio Carlos Jobim, blending rich mid-century orchestrations with contemporary production for today's music lovers.
Working some of the world’s top musicians, Mr. Fontaine has provided music for film and television, including The Emmy Awards, while his collaboration with choreographer Travis Wall on the US version of Dancing With The Stars earned the performance an Emmy nomination.
Dan Fontaine & His Orchestra perform internationally and are highly sought after in the world of luxury events, performing for Cartier, Piaget, Armani, Bvlgari, Aquazurra, Vogue, Waterford, and Lexus.
Mr. Fontaine’s albums "The Wonderful World of Dan Fontaine" and "Champagne & Quail" are available on iTunes, Spotify, and all streaming platforms, along with his single "A Day in the Life of a Fool," Barrie-James, and "Olha Pro Céu," featuring Sel Boragian. He is currently working with legendary producer Arnaldo DeSouteiro and Brazil's finest emerging Bossa Nova vocalists, Selma Boragian and Gustavo Cysne.
